A year delayed
I was just going to make banana bread when I got the pre-diabetes diagnosis. After a year of carefully reading labels and reducing sugar and saturated fat I had lost some weight. This year my appointment shows no sign of pre-diabetes, no kidney or liver damage and cholesterol is well in the normal range. Happy news.
I made the banana bread.
I still will keep up with the no soda pop and drinking coffee black but now can relax a little bit on the rest. I want to maintain a lower weight and a healthier diet.
