2024 Monday — The Day After
This has been an exceptional birthday and a big blip day.
This birthday celebration started days ago when the make believe confetti exploded to fill our thoughts and lives. This has been a full, full month of so many activities and events that my birthday sat on the back burner simmering and then it just bubbled to the brim . . . dancing in the overflow has been therapeutic.
I’ve received packages, cards in the mail, emails, phone calls, texts, Facebook comments, at least a dozen hugs at church yesterday morning, and lunch at the harbor with Mr. Fun who puts up with my exuberance.
Above all, I want to thank God for my life; my parents split-up after my older sister was born. Then they got back together and I was born. I want to thank Jesus for forgiveness and salvation and the abundant life I have had the privilege of living. Do you know Jesus? He’s waiting to hear your voice. If He’s knocking on the door of your life, open the door!
Good night from
California’s Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too !
