Queen Anne's Lace? or poisonous?

i was bored so i went to our front yard and got a pic of this flower i see around here..I looked it up and saw it was a Daucus carota (Umbelliferae) or also called QAL^. they said that it can be that or there are a few very similar in appearance that are poisonous. Wild carrot has the small purple flower in the middle jst like this one.
