You are amazing

It was a freezing night and its been a bitterly cold day.  Don't think it got much above zero.  I had set the heating to come on a while before I was due to get up but it didn't come on. When I checked I found that the boiler was off and needed re- pressurising.  All OK after I had done that ...but the house took ages to warm up.

Went down to the village later.  Collected a parcel from The Convenience Store, then shopping in Herons and Tesco. Another parcel in Tesco.  Walked home in the dark.  I was glad to get indoors as I was very cold even though I had my warmest coat on plus hat, scarf and gloves.

After unpacking the shopping and having a nice hot cup of coffee I unpacked the parcels.  Inside one of them I found the note you can see in my blip.  A lovely surprise... and it fits with the Mono Monday Challenge which is. ' Something you don’t see every day'.  Thanks to jensphotos for hosting.

Had some lovely prawns and veg for my evening meal and then I fell asleep for a couple of hours.  Felt terrible when I woke up.  All " woolly- headed ".  These new tablets make me feel sleepy at the wrong times.

Felt cold when I woke up so the heated throw has been taken into use while I sit at the computer.
