Sub zero temperatures this morning and I scraped the ice off the car before heading up to a frost-covered golf course. It’s always interesting playing in these conditions as you have to expect and accept the unexpected. Soft bounce, hard bounce, no bounce, who knows? The real killer though is the random collection of frozen worm casts on the winter greens. Anyone for bagatelle? Despite that, quite enjoyed the game and the weather, wrapped up as I was in five layers and with a couple of fully charged hand warmers to keep the cold at bay. Needless to say we didn’t hang around and were round in no time!
Just finished following tonight’s footie and well done to Scotland who have won again to avoid Nations League relegation - for now that is, there’ll be a playoff in March.
