Babies

A happy time of the year for some orchid owners. Always exciting to see them bear new spikes. And for me, especially so as two of those blipped are recently hydroponically grown (one was a sad looking specimen chopped back, the smaller one a Keiki).

I have been feeding them with a small quantity of coffee ground, early days, but the bottom left orchid now has 3 flower spikes - a record for me.

Had our blocks AGM a.m. Then a shop in Boscombe. Bumped into G who joined us for a coffee at Da Nunzio. Ended up having a fascinating chat with 2 Albanians - a country we know so little about.

Then home. Temperatures due to drop seriously tomorrow. . .
