Malarkey

A road journey in Dar es Salaam cannot occur without encountering some kind of detour, roadworks or other construction malarkey. It’s mostly manageable except in rush hour, when progress is painful. The never-ending challenge of upgrading a road system that cannot keep pace with the growth and needs of the city’s population.
