Marshy

The low lying land in Chichester Harbour has many marshy inlets and water filled dykes. It’s a haven for over wintering waders, geese, ducks and other birds. This morning we were fortunate to see a marsh harrier. It was sitting still on a post so we got an excellent view of it. Such a treat.

It’s been a calm day which started with sunshine. This afternoon I ventured to the allotment in the rain to stock up on vegetables as it’s forecast to be cold and windy this week.
