Fireplace

When we got a quote for removing the gas fire I was told “you could just go it yourself” but I’m very glad I didn’t try! After quite a bit of pulling and wiggling our guy checked we didn’t plan to use the fire again before switching approach and finally getting it out.
The flowers are a temporary measure until I decide what to do with the resulting void. Most importantly, popping a balloon in the chimney has stopped the draft and it will be much warmer now.
