An Iris in November

The early morning sunshine bought this Iris into bloom that's been in bud for a while now! glad it's appeared now before the cold snap later this week!  think it's the latest I've ever seen an Iris appear in the garden!

Spot of food shopping today and thankfully haven't been tempted by any of the festive treats that seem to have taken over every aisle!  I feel Grinch mode is activating in me haha!!
