Catching the Sunshine

The big change in our weather is coming! It was safer to get out this morning while the sun was still shining. These lovely leaves are in the neighbourhood above mine, so less than fifteen minutes away on foot. They were just catching the sun from a certain angle.

Now this afternoon, the sky is turning grey and the sun is very pale behind the light grey cover. Tomorrow we shall have rain and on Wednesday, snow!  That will be a big change from our sesonally mild autumn!
