Cold with Showers

Brrr...fall is definitely here! I had a leisurely breakfast this morning, being a Sunday. It was too cold and wet to walk today, so gave myself the day off. I have a friend coming by for lunch tomorrow, so will make a nice soup called "Lemony Chicken-Feta Meatball Soup with Spinach" - a NY Times Cooking Recipe which I've made before - it's absolutely delicious!

My old high schools friends and I had our monthly video chat this afternoon - gosh I love those gals! Hilarious!

A bit of an EB...gotta get going on the soup and I've got Mahjong tonight too. We had the past couple of Sundays off since one of our foursome was traveling. Still learning! Here's a lovely pot of sedums and Echeverias that I have growing in a shallow container in my courtyard. Very wet indeed!
