Nature Diary...A chilly day

A chilly day with the early morning mist taking a very long time to clear. An early morning 'sailor' moved slowly over the sea with not the slightest hint of any wind to help him.
Meanwhile, in the silent stillness a lone Herring Gull sat high up on a tall chimney and peacefully watched the world go by.
