Street art ghost
The most interesting thing to happen to me today took place in a supermarket queue this afternoon. Encouraged by (naughty) nadinepierce, I decided to take advantage of Tesco's almost half price offer on a big bottle of Baileys for club card members. Unfortunately, when I reached the till with the Baileys, a bottle of milk, a fennel bulb, two packs of blueberries, and a bar of chocolate, I couldn't immediately access my club card on my phone. This was due to my change of mobile contract on Friday. When I said to the cashier that I would have to put the Baileys back, the man behind me in the queue offered to lend me his club card. What a sweetie! As things turned out, I eventually managed to log into my Tesco account so didn't need to take up his offer, but he really made my day.
Apart from the short trip to Tesco, today I have been for a run, gardened (mainly adding leaves to my compost bin), had an awkward phone call with my middle sister and a lovely one with the not-so-little one, and cooked a sausage, fennel and broccoli bake for supper. (Looking after Mummy hazelh is a given.)
I had a look at my Blipfoto stats today. I have an interesting new 'All time' 'Most viewed' eighth entry. It looks like the search terms 'cool', 'avocado', 'bathroom', and 'suite' are sending folk to my Blipfoto entry for 13th July 2018.
I stopped to photograph the street art for my blip when I was out running.
Exercise today: 100 minute run; walking (24,814 steps including run).
