Long Shadow Selfie

The rain stopped at midday and when I got out for a walk at 2 o'clock the sky opened and the weather turned beautiful! I walked along the coast up till what you see here in the backdrop and back of course; some 9 kms in all. JoesBlips from Finland has today his Long Shadow Blip and seeing that one after having made one myself, I put mine in as to show that on Crete, many miles South from Finland the shadows are long too in this time of the year ~ I took my blip at about 16.45 hours; an hour before dusk.

And when nearing Sweetheart's house, I saw the mountaintops of the Levka Ori covered in the first snow!! Such a welcome sight and good promiss for a proper Winter!
