Wish

Blimey, what a great day I've had! Rich, Kie and I met up for some pre-gig tots (minimal booze for me due to the antibiotics, but I can has fun without alcohol) before catching up with Neil and his family for dinner at The Old Crown. Really enjoyed the gammon and chips, and it was so nice to see Neil; if I remember correctly I haven't actually seen him in person since New Years 2019 into 2020, which is just bonkers, honestly. Neil had to scarper to the gig then because he was working at it, so Rich, Kie and I went to Autobrew where an incredibly friendly if absolutely sozzled man bought the entire pub crisps. Twas off to the gig then; I had originally been a bit disappointed as cKy had been (understandably) kicked off this tour for punching the Alien Ant Farm lead singer and I was looking forward to seeing them, but their replacement, InMe, were excellent. Alien Ant Farm were fantastic too; I had forgotten quite how many songs of theirs I really like! Back to The Old Crown after the show where we were joined again by Neil and co. for more chatting and plenty laughing. Lovely stuff!
