A Frosty Start

It was a clear night and this morning there was a frost on the ground in places as I set off for my walk.

I stopped to photograph this little group of leaves with ice crystals and to my surprise there was a little mushroom growing up through the middle :-)

I also encountered a very curious sheep - first extra - apparently I was more interesting than the field full of turnips!

Later on the sun was high enough to spill over into the lane - lighting the hedge and the lovely oak tree - second extra.
