Man on beach

We took the fluffy one to the beach this afternoon. The light wasn't perfect, but we did get a really pretty window of about 15 minutes when it was golden. There had been a big tide so the sea had come in and gone out a long way so we had a freshly washed beach and plenty of water draining back while the fresh tide was coming in.

You can see the small marks made by the creatures in the sand as the water retreats - which give the sand wonderful texture. The main picture is a lone walker on the beach - which was timed so that there weren't too many people in short - but to be honest the beach was quite big and empty so I've not completely mislead you...

The extras are a few more shots in basically the same direction and in a similar mode. There was almost no wind so the sea was very flat and the only waves were those caused by the incoming water falling over the retreating water of the previous wave.
