Sparks Lake

Our first time paddling on Sparks Lake today.

I am without words to describe the experience of being on crystal clear water in a volcanic basalt bowel surrounded by wildflowers and tall pine trees with three towering volcanoes surrounding us.

South Sister Mountain appears on the left and Broken Top Mountain appears on the right.

Awesome in the extreme.

We now have two favorite Cascade Lakes in which to kayak.
