Passifloraceae
A passion fruit flower that we spotted on today’s walk along the coast path. Dippy and I walked with a friend who is struggling with motivation for life just now, quite capable but he reads and listens to all sorts of trivia, media and other opinionated information on the World Wide Web. Which is fine if you have the ability to realise it is simply another person’s job to sell misinformation.
An absolutely stunning autumnal day, wall to wall sunshine once the heavy mist blew away.
I made M aware of all sorts of wildlife that we saw or heard along the route, he had not been gifted the greatest start in life with adoption issues and parents who also had a rough time when they were nurtured. We are all capable of becoming addicted to something or other if our lifestyle is not balanced and a balance often needs a little support from others around us.
Plenty of banter and laughter together and with the other people coming in the opposite direction, many with canines off their leashes.
Breakfast in the Market Street Kitchen garden where Dippy enjoyed rough pruning some hydrangea bushes and investigating every single thing that was at his level.
The return journey was just as sociable and included encounters with some of my acquaintances from the surrounding region.
We said our farewell after a pot of tea at the Cafe du Park.
Smooth hound seasoned and fried in butter accompanied by stir-fried vegetables was my supper before some reading and then zzzzzzzzzz.
