Autumn Path

A wee daunder around the park after breakfast. Not many people out and about, just from a weekday boot camp on the south side of the park. There is even some sunshine. Get back to start work on replacing the sealant around the windows on the inside. There are two windows that need doing initially, I manage to remove the old sealant before coffee. After coffee, taking a bit longer, I reseal the windows. The reduction in noise from the outside is quite apparent. I even manage to make a start on another window before lunch.

After lunch, as wee bit of a tidy up in the rooms I have been working in. Then partner and I go for a walk to the garden centre for Friday afternoon coffee and cake. We walk along the Mortonhall path, which passes through some lovely woodland, shown in the blip photo. Some ominous looking clouds follow us, blown on a strong breeze, At times, there are hints of moisture in the air. Fortunately no heavy rain. There are some lovely Christmas goodies on offer in the café, it would be rude not to sample one of them. There is also the Christmas Village, they also sell buildings so that you can design your own village. There are also the animated singing reindeer.
