Tooli is making Yorkshire Puddings and Steak Pie for the School Christmas Dinner .


She asked her Dad for a recipe. ... because he is the font of all things cooking in our house.


The undernoted is what he produced.


Weirdly, both Tooli and I asked why he had referred to a Cook Book, since the Perfect Yorkie Duff are pumped out of the kitchen on a Sunday with little or no regard for cook books.


Still She has followed the recipe and this was her first attempt.


Her verdict "they are not as "Fairy Fart" as dad's.


Several tips have gone back and forward.


And the second batch will be forthcoming.




Recipe to make 12 small individual


weigh eggs 2 , same weight of flour in a bowl with salt and pepper,


make well in middle and add eggs and same volume of milk.


Whisk together.


Add more milk bit at a time until is same consistency as double cream straight from tub.


Heat oven to 220, put oil in trays and add trays to oven until smoking hot.


Take tray from oven put batter mix into holes on tray and into bottom of oven.


Cook until crispy and brown.
