Stored for the winter

I rather like this collection of boats at Denver Sluice by the River Great Ouse, looked after by the West Norfolk Rowing Club. There's something sleek, racy and energetic about them. I felt sure there must be a proper name for them and the best I could find was racing shell, there may be a more euphonious term, rowing boat does not do them justice I feel.
