Miniature Roses

The miniature roses continue to put on a lovely show and there are still several buds promising more to come.

Being Friday, I had lunch with Birgit and we did our usual of stating what we know without doubt would fix all the issues within our families, the problems with the government and just life in general.

Once home, I didn’t get any real Christmas put out but I did get everything taken out of my two cabinets and the tv stand and packed away for now. I also thoroughly dusted & polished the cabinets & stand and then did the tedious job of cleaning all the candle wax from the cast iron candle holder that holds a dozen very slim tapered candles.

This candle holder is easily more than 55 years old It was one of my mother’s pride & joys when I was growing up and I was given it about 20 years ago It’s now ready to be a part of the Christmas decor even though I do have it out all year round.
