A Walk along the Tavistock Canal

Bright sunshine and a walk this morning along the Tavistock Canal in West Devon. I had intended to upload several images from my walk to highlight the dilemma of whether to post a visually appealing image or something seen which might only be of interest to the person taking the photograph. In the end I went for a fairly standard image for the main and something I found curious for the extra. A Quick Look might suggest that erosion of the canal bank had revealed a buried skull or ancient helmet, The black eyes are actually shadows cast by overhanging leaves.
