Ruins with an Extra

We had only been able to book 2 nights at the campsite - couldn't start earlier as P had a meeting on Tuesday, and Friday night was already booked up by the weekenders - but we sneaked an extra walk in today by parking down at the National Trust carpark at the former Coastguard Cottages for the day. This time we walked south along the coast path - mainly in the dunes as the tide was in & only leg- and paw-unfriendly shingle was exposed on the beach - skirting around the bird reserve at Minsmere & looping back inland to cross the marshes and then across Dunwich Heath again. The NT cafe was shut for refurbishment, but we'd brought our own soup in the van. Now we're home with our fibre broadband - and a lot of catching up to do!

The Blip shows an art installation in the ruins of the Minsmere Chapel - I've Blipped it a couple of years ago but this time I managed to get a different composition, aided, I think, by the removal of some bracken outside the wall, and by the position of the sun (behind thick clouds today, in my face last time!!).
