Roux

Ben made chicken pie
yesterday and has been quite
fixed on the roux part!

When Ben came home yesterday he was full of stories of the roux he’d made for his chicken pie and excited for helping to make the tuna pasta bake tonight. As expected, he began enthusiastically and then wandered off to check the post and then to watch the telly but this was him when I was trying to let him have a go by himself. It takes a lot of restraint for me to stand back when Ben does things, he’s so impulsive that things take a turn quite quickly but I know it’s good for him to feel the control so I do try. Not much else to report, I did quite a bit of homework, spoke to my dad, the social worker and walked Leo and now here we are playing monopoly again!
