Meet

Pickle :)

She's a real Pickle - but actually stood still for me to take a picture :)   Apparently she has jumped on the work surface and the table before - she's like a pointer I think....

Before visiting friends, I had the dentist in Newbury (an hours drive away and where I used to live).  Thankful that although I have got broken teeth, I'm in no pain and they will be left for now - but I need a hygienist appointment - not til January though.

Afterwards, I drove to the canal - but this silly TB had left her coat at home and it was freezing, so I only got a few pictures.

G and her family have 4 dogs, all rescues.   I've met the two in extras,  before and they know me quite well.  The other dog was unable to stay still for me to take pictures.  They are a very barky lot....

G and I went out for lunch at Cote Newbury.  I had Poulet Breton and G had Mushroom Casoulet.  Then we both had Yuzu Grand Macaron for dessert - but it was really hard, we had to cut it with knife and fork!!!

It was so lovely to catch up with G and all her family news :)

My poor knee is now hurting a lot and I'm not sure quite why - maybe the sitting still in one position, or the driving and possibly the dentist as I always get anxious and tense when I go to a dentist.

Anyway, when I got home at about 3pm, I was absolutely shattered and ready for bed....so I've had a lazy afternoon on the sofa which was not intended!
