Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk

Four of us took the train to Dundee today to go to the V&A. The kimono exhibition finishes in early January and it's not to be missed. The fabric, design and material of  kimono - so rich, sumptuous and graceful. Definitely status symbols. The evolution of kimono was also on display with modern kimono-inspired designs. Lovely. My blip and extra are details of the larger items. 

We then went to DCA for lunch and a wander round the city before catching the train home. I used to be in Dundee so frequently but I've not been for ages so it was all most enjoyable.
