a balancing act....

A wander to go birdwatching this  morning and it was a very quiet start so I did fear the worst! But then they all began to appear! Lots of Long Tailed Tits around today, along with geese, goldfinches, greenfinches, Redwing, Spoonbill, waders and ducks of all kinds too! And even 1 Kingfisher who showed me that lovely blue flash as they flew off when they saw me approaching!!  And it was herons galore round the reserve too - just how do they balance so well on a tiny branch?!

Sun is now appearing this afternoon - better late than never! Hope we're all prepared for colder weather next week!!!
