New road markings

I just noticed these in front of the house. I really hope they're not the gas company, because they take forever and make the road terrible every time they do something.

It might be related to a notification we got in the mail a week or so ago about lead water lines. We were told we might have a lead pipe leading to the house or a pipe connected to a pipe that contains lead. If that's the case, I hope this changes the pipes!
