Millmoor Autumn
I spotted the orange of the tree saplings as I came back from Wortley Post Office, so decided to stop. So a few quick phone snaps. This one might be an in-phone multiple using PhotoSplit (an app for the iPhone which appears to have vanished from the App Store.) so here’s today’s tribute for the possible demise of my favourite app (well after incollage).
PS the yellow leaf - beech
The crinkly one in the foreground is sweet chestnut
There are probably oak and sycamore among the carpet of leaves.
I’ve now been on the steroids for a week and I’m not feeling any better, in fact probably worse, though I’ve always experienced ups and downs all along with this illness.I was hoping for a miracle cure. Yesterday I retreated to bed around 8 because I couldn’t cope with dragging my weary body around for longer. (I read the paper rather than edit images, which is something I often do using Procreate.
A visit to the ENT clinic yesterday morning. The good news is that my light headedness and feeling of slight unbalance is not due to my ears ands most likely due to the Polymyalgia.
P.s. afternoon short walk though the village - my body felt stiff and needed to move and it was good to be out. I met Marjorie coming out of her drive who was on the way to the chapel, so we chatted as we walked back. I’d missed the community group meeting - no surprise! I’m not really tuned into evening outings at the moment.
