Buds on the Cherry Tree.

The Feast Day of Saint Albert the Great. Born circa 1200. Died 1280..
Patron saint of Scientists, the natural sciences, medical technicians and philosophers.
He was a teacher of St Thomas Aquinas.

Today is overcast and a milder day. The Cherry Tree had only three leaves remaining this morning and I was inspired to photo the stark branches with their buds.
Winter time can seem to lack colourfulness but the time of resting and regeneration will hopefully lead to a beautiful Spring.
