Almost ready…..

…..for Ella and Ayman’s birthday party tomorrow. Lawn mowing and pool preparation are my main responsibilities while isbi’s working on her usual gourmet cheesecake and pavlova - everything else is up to the parents.
My entertainment for the morning was having my first tooth extraction which I think isn’t too bad for 73 years. In my career I’ve extracted thousands of teeth from cats and dogs (and the odd horse), always believing the technique might appear a bit rough to outsiders, something best not performed in front of the owner. Before starting today, I noticed the surgical tray contained the same tools of the trade I used to use and the procedure was performed in a manner only slightly more delicate and refined.
Anyway, the result seems good so I can now concentrate on helping entertain a bunch of 4year olds tomorrow.
