First of the season

First mince pies of the season. Mini ones from Aldi. It’s an In Service day so Kara’s preschool is closed. Jen took Kara to Aldi and I asked if she’d find me some mince pies. The mini ones really drew her in for some reason. I see why. They are delicious!

Catching up on All Aboard: Scotland’s Poshest Train on Channel 4. It’s presented by Alan Cummings so already a win. As part of the tour he shown the Glenfinnan Monument by Andrew McKenzie from Highland Historian. I went to school with him! We were both up in Inverness too (he still is). Must catch up with him.
