Golden light
It was a lovely day today and I was in town for my Architecure and Design Club meeting. Afterwards, as I headed for the train, I had a wander round the Merchant City. The sunlight was beautiful although the magnificent buildings blocked it out apart from at the very top. The clock tower says 6.30 but it was actually 3.30. In George Square the ‘cherry pickers’ were in action putting up the Christmas lights across the front of the City Chambers. Across the other side of the square, hoardes of people sat outside Wotherspoons enjoying an Al fresco drink… this is Glasgow, in November, quite surreal!
