Rule of Thirds
The summit of Goatfell on the distant Isle of Arran is exactly on the third-third intersection of this shot! After days submerged in fog and low cloud, it was a pleasure to see the view from Mum’s balcony in Largs at its very best - there wont’t be too many more occasions for us to stand here and take it in!
A productive day finalising our paper UK tax returns relating to our UK property income. They have to be in paper as we live abroad, and posting them from Largs makes everything so much easier . . . you can’t actually send to the PO Box of HMRC from abroad, so we had to send to an Edinburgh friend first to forward on!
Then Dd and I visited Mum before going to her new care home to get a deeper feel for what we can take in. I saw her room with the bed in situ for the first time on the new carpet. It’s small but fine and saves us using a man with a van tomorrow to take in a chest of drawers . . . I had actually lined one up in the Morrisons café this morning!
About to have an Indian, and sorry we can’t be with Arclight and Alfthomas as they visit Barcelona on other business these days! Que disfrutéis!
