i flit, i float, i fly
Today I randomly went to the library on my lunch break and picked out a book. I haven't read in months, but somehow it seemed the thing to do. From there I grabbed a garden burger from the deli and headed out to a quiet little table in the shade. Nobody was around, just me and my book....sunshine, light breeze...and this beautiful butterfly. It kept flying around my table almost inviting me to take its picture. I am proud of this shot.
Sidenote: Norah is having a tough couple of days, ran a fever again today 103.2. She had a spotty night and it took almost two hours to get her down for bed. Crazy loud crying and lots of crocodile tears, but alas she fell asleep in my arms. As a mother, this is heaven. I swear there is nothing more satisfying in the world than cradling your sleeping child. I'm trying to make a memory. I also noticed one other thing. When Norah was playing with her blocks today, she was stacking them with all the colored letters face-up. If I turned them, she would switch them back. It's cool to see her begin to understand commonalities.
