Penarth

After dropping my cycle into a cycle shop in Monmouth (South Wales UK) to get it ready for winter use, I headed to Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, near Cardiff to visit my brother.

After a good chat, as the sun out and he lives opposite Penarth Pier (1929AD)  I took the opportunity to take an aerial view of the Pier looking towards Cardiff and also one overhead (extra).

It was good to have about three hours catching up as his wife is suffering breast cancer and has had surgery and will be undergoing a year of chemo and then radiotherapy. Very worrying but she's coping well.

I popped in on my dad but after a quick chat he was off out to collect someone from the railway station that's visiting a family friend who's in hospital. Not bad going seeing he's well over 92!
