It's Grim Up North

That's me on holiday! I stepped off the train from London at York, to visit my friends Dave and Gill and their box-of-frogs children who finished school today - mine have been off for weeks and weeks. Following the extensive cycle routes across York took me to a footbridge with bike ramps and this view along the rails.

We planned the route for tomorrow, north to Guisborough on the smallest roads we could spot on the map. Dave is bunking off work to join me on his ridiculously light Planet-X carbon fibre razor blade - cheating I say!

Great to unwind in the evening sunshine with holiday fizz :)
