Birding in my own
backyard while waiting for a 
workman to arrive

Coffee was 5:30 this morning. I needed to be at the grocery store for its opening at 7 as I felt I should be home again by 8. I should have someone coming to clean up my yard. I wasn't given a definite time, so it could be today. He'd said Wednesday or Thursday. Since no one arrived yesterday, I'm hoping it is today. 

Meanwhile, I've been watching the sparrows bop in and out of my poor orange tree. The birds don't seem to mind the dead branches or the shriveled fruit. Perhaps it gives them a better vantage point when the branches are bare. 

It will be great to have the yard back in some order. I will wait......but I'm not really a patient person. I will be on the phone by late afternoon if I've not had any results.
