Running the gauntlet

I nearly did a there and  back along the bottom road because I wasn't inspired by a hill today (unusual!) But, as heart would have it, I turned right early and headed up the hill from the other side for a change. This was a great decision because there were two tractors out on the bottom road cutting hedges - branches twigs and thorns EVERYWHERE - so I only had to run the gauntlet once and made it home without a puncture.

Back in time to finish off my chicken and pumpkin soup for 14 (that should keep me going!)
