Forgotten pleasures . . .

In recent years the super duper  electric lawn rake had put the leaf blower completely out of my thoughts, until today.  I intended to rake the leaves under the hedge for mulching and ‘hedgehog home making’, then I had a brain wave, why not blow them there.
 
With the mass of leaves fallen recently the blower did the job much better than rakes of any sort.  The shot is of the second tranche, you can see there is already piles of leaves under the hedge at the back.  I see no point in leaving the lawn in leaf clean condition as it will be covered again by tomorrow.
 
I thought that Biskit would be a bit wary, but instead we had a good game of chase the dog with the leaf blower.
 
Fish supper tonight.
