Inverted...
...Sparky woke us at a reasonable (by his standards) 5.30am. Nancy was up and away for the early train, but was soon messaging to say there was an air leak in the brakes and they're to be thrown-off at Stow station. Then the driver reversed his decision as a disgruntled lynch mob had formed, and the train progressed at a pace a fraction above walking, and were thankfully able to stop before hitting the buffers at Waverley.
My morning was far less dramatic as I enjoyed a breakfast of Japanese marmalade, toast and coffee and then took a stroll up to the Braeheads (top of the village) to observe the temperature inversion blanketing the lower village. Not only are the houses more expensive up this part, but the weather is better.
Resisting the temptation to engage in any real work, I've a number of items in the 'pottering aboot' category to occupy my day. Later, train brakes permitting. Nancy and I will drop round to the local cafe/deli/book/household shop for their Xmas Shopping Night (14th Nov!!)
