Sedbergh WI Meeting

My very busy Wednesday, my usual activities, plus my Monthly WI meeting. This month, our speaker talked to us about places on the Black Sea he had visited on a cruise. His claim to fame is that the places he has visited seem to erupt in violence after he has visited! We did suggest he stop travelling around the world and he said his next trip was to the Isle of Wight. If you live there, you have been warned!
Seriously though, his cruise started in Istanbul, then he talked about visiting Georgia, several places in Russia, including Sochi and Yalta, followed by Odessa in Ukraine, before returning to Istanbul. For clarity, it was before the Russia Ukraine war. It seems like a very interesting trip, but not currently running.
