Bright Phoebus

Something I am listening to, Bright Phoebus from Mike and Lal Waterson. A superb collection of songs with great talent playing, such as Richard Thompson and Ashley Hutchings. Issued in 1972, my older brother bought it on the day of issue. This meant he bought one of the first thousand copies. This is now valued at £500, though I wouldn't sell it for £10,000. It didn't really take off at the time. It has only become recognised as a great piece of music after their deaths. It was unavailable for years. It was reissued on CD in 2017. I would never play the vinyl as I was terrified of scratching it. CD great. Don't bother to go out and attempt to buy the CD. You won't be able to. It was taken off the market for copyright reasons. According to Discogs sellers can't even sell is second hand. So, I sit here with two copies and the reader may wish they had one.
