Pied stilts with young

I was very unpopular walking beside the estuary this evening. There were three pied stilt families: two with three chicks each, and one pair with just one offspring. Unlike magpies and skuas, pied stilts are very noisy but don't come so close that they part your hair. I hadn't thought to take a camera with a telephoto lens, so this is the best I could do with my cell phone. There are a couple in extras.
