shoes and fish

Artifex (younger daughter) and I took my grandsons to an outdoor activity centre with a dear friend and her children. The boys have a fantastic time doing what boys do, digging in the sand, paddling, picnic, play area and a row boat ride. These are Artifex's shoes over the jetty where the fish are so tame you can stroke them. Older daughter very happy to have a child free day after 2 days of her boys being off school. All in all, a very nice day and not an argument between the 6 children and I got to spend all day rabbiting in the way omly longstanding friends can :)
