THE GIBSIDE HOTEL

Slept better but still felt tired all day.   ( Might be a side effect of the double dose of tablets Ive just started. )

Got a text message this morning from the Osteoporosis Dept at the Queen Elizabeth hospital confirming my FACE TO FACE  appointment next Wednesday at 4pm. I knew I had an appointment then as I got a letter about it last November.  However the letter said I had a PHONE appointment. So which was it?   I phoned the hospital to check  Took ages to get through, then I was on hold for ages while the appointments chap spoke the the consultants secretary.  Turns out I do have a face to face appointment so I will have to go to the hospital.  Another thing I needed to do was get someone from the pharmacy dept to collect my ' Sharps Box'  Its full of the used injection pens.  So they have arranged a day and time when someone will collect it.

This afternoon I went to the village.  Food shopping and one parcel to collect.

I was looking around all the time for a blip shot.  The theme is " Curvy ". Not many curves to be found so the best I could do were the arched windows of The Gibside Hotel.  Thanks to C1aire for hosting.

Weather today was Ok but its definitely turning colder.

Today is my brother John's 70th birthday. I was 3½ when he was born.  He was born at home so I was able to see him straight away.  Hes been a good brother.  He was a bit of a pest when he was little ( I guess all younger brothers are )  ... and I was probably a bit of a bossy older sister. We get on very well and I'm fortunate that he doesn't live too far away so I can see him regularly.  Ive added some photos as Extras.
