18 hours

It took her 18 hours to get from Edinburgh to Nairobi - but she has just let me know that she has arrived. Now I can go to bed after my 2.30am start...

In between times today I snoozed, worked, packed, talked to friends, shared a wee pink chilled one with a pal, arranged to see a fabbie friend next week and offered to help another friend who is overdoing some wonderful charity work. She is making thousands of cupcakes to sell at the Border Union Show over the next two days. I offered to wash dishes - but i think she has a dishwasher! Not sure I would have been up to even that today!!
